Get ready for one of the most unique and atmospheric nights of the year! The annual Flaming Pumpkin Ski is back, transforming our trails into a magical, torchlit winter wonderland.
Every year, following Halloween, we collect and reclaim carved jack-o'-lanterns. On Friday, November 28th, starting at 7:30 PM, these pumpkins are lit up and placed along the entire 1.25 km loop, casting a warm, flickering glow across the snow.
This is a casual, social ski event open to everyone! Come out and glide beneath the pumpkin lights. You can ski the loop once, twice, or as many times as you like—it's entirely up to you and your pace.
Afterward, ditch your skis and join us inside the cozy Nordic Centre to warm up with some complimentary hot chocolate and good company.
Don't miss this beautiful, glowing tradition that officially kicks off the Fort Smith ski season! We'll see you on the illuminated trail.
